Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Orrerium Studios LLC (“Orrerium”, “we”, “us”) collects through orreriumstudios.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers this website only. Our games will have their own privacy terms when they release.
What we collect
- Waitlist sign-ups. If you join a waitlist, we collect the email address you enter.
- Messages you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message.
- Basic technical and usage data. Our hosting provider processes technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It does not use cookies and does not track you across other sites.
We do not ask for payment details, and this site does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
- To send you development updates, announcements and playtest invitations you signed up for.
- To reply to your messages.
- To keep the website running, secure and working properly, and to understand which pages are useful.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.
Service providers
We use a small number of providers to run the site and handle email:
- Cloudflare: hosting, security, analytics and email forwarding.
- MailerLite: storing waitlist sign-ups and sending update emails.
- Microsoft: our email inbox.
- Google Fonts: typefaces loaded by your browser, which shares your IP address with Google.
These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist emails until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, or until we stop sending updates for that project. We keep correspondence as long as needed to handle your request and for our ordinary business records.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from any update email using the link in it, or by writing to us. You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and we will respond within a reasonable time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law. We will honor them.
Children
This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has signed up, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
